A session is the window of time a user has to convert after viewing or interacting with a Social Native widget. Depending on your setup, a session is defined as a 30-minute and 14-day window. If you would like more information or if you would like to change your window, please contact Support.
We have two different session length options to fit your brand’s needs:
30 Minutes: A 30-minute session length is useful for situations where a user is more likely to convert directly after viewing a widget.
14 Days: This is useful if your users normally visits multiple times over a longer period of time before converting. Social Native's analytics identifies conversions on that first day and looks back 14 days to see if there were any impressions or interactions with content on your site.
If you are using the 30-minute window, for example, a user who clicks on a Social Native widget and checks out 28 minutes later will be counted as a conversion, while a user who checks out 31 minutes later will not be counted as a conversion.
