Introduction to Product Feeds
Updated over a year ago

What is a product feed and why do you need to give it to Social Native?

A product feed contains all of the products that exists within your storefront. This file / feed has all of the metadata surrounding each products (e.g. Product Price, Product URL, SKU, Product ID, or Stock Image URL).

Within our admin, in order to essentially tag an incoming photo to a specific product, we need to map out all of the products that exists for your brand.

What specific information from the feed do you need?

We need the following information about each product in the feed:

  • Product Name

  • Product URL

  • Product Unique Identifier (this must not be dependent on stock #, color, etc)

  • Product Stock Image URL

  • Category Name (optional)

  • Category Unique Identifier (optional)

Once you are ready to create the feed, please read our full documentation to match the schema. When you are ready to hand over the feed to us, let your Customer Success Manager know and we can start on getting the feed parsed in.
