With Social Native, you can collect, curate, and tag videos that feature your products and turn them into engaging and seamless shopping experiences for your customers.

How does Video Curation work?

The process of video curation is more complex than static-media curation, as it involves analyzing factors such as video length, language, music, and audio.

Our expert Strategic Content Curation team can help you design and deploy strategies based on years of experience and your unique brand guidelines and goals. We'll also work with you to understand what's working and what's not, so we can optimize your content strategy and get you closer to achieving your goals.

The workflow

Our video curation process is designed to ensure that you have the best video content for your brand. We analyze hundreds of collected videos from social media to select the best ones based on your brand guidelines, goals, appropriateness, quality, usability, and captions.

This is what the process looks like:

  • Filtering:
    A qualified team of moderators reviews and filters the wide amount of collected content, following your brand and campaign guidelines, in order to provide you with the highest quality content available.

  • Tagging:
    After an in-depth revision of the content, the Content Curation team uses your e-commerce's Product Feed to tag the media to specific streams so, when approved, it can be sent to the product's display page. This also enables shoppable links on the videos, that will lead customers to the product pages.

  • Quality analysis: At this stage, we will perform a final revision of videos to ensure that the brand's quality guidelines are being met and that the tagged videos match the products.

How can I set a collection to source videos and get them curated?

To start collecting and curating videos, follow the instructions at Create and Manage collections.

What languages do you moderate?

Our Content Curation only moderates videos in English and Spanish. For other languages, we can curate videos but audio-wise will require your brand’s final compliance check.

How many products can be tagged in a video?

Ideally, we will tag 3 products per video, depending on the tagging complexity. However, the ultimate deciding factor will be your brand's guidelines.
