The Content Uploader is a useful tool that allows you upload photos and videos directly from your hard drive. You can access the Content Uploader from the Home Page or by going to the Source dropdown and selecting the Upload tab.

⚑PRO TIP⚑

We've found this tool is most useful to upload employee-generated content or influencer content that hasn't been uploaded on social channels but was sent directly to the brand.

To make the most of it, we suggest creating a well-defined process before you start uploading content. Take into account factors like image size, quality, captions, and usernames to prevent any errors. You can also refer to the steps outlined below as a starting point to establish this process effectively.

1. Upload your content

Drag & drop the items you want to upload into the dashed rectangle, or click on 'Browse' to select the photos and videos from your hard drive.

  • Photos and videos are limited to a maximum of 500MBs per file.

  • File types supported for photos are .jpeg and .png.

  • File types supported for videos are .mp4 and .mov.

  • .mov videos recorded directly from iPhone IOS may not be compatible. To handle any compatibility issue please follow these steps:

    • Import the video to a PC or Mac.

    • Open the video with a desktop app (e.g. Quicktime)

    • Export it as mov or mp4

    • Upload the exported video file through the content uploader

    • If you are not able to see the thumbnail when you upload the media you can export it with mp4 and try again.

The uploaded content will appear below the box. Hover over the photos to Edit or Delete.

2. Edit username, captions, streams and keywords

Edit Username

By default, the username attributed to the uploaded media will be your account username, but you can change it by clicking the 'Change' button next to your username.

Edit Captions

Hover over each photo and click on Edit to add a caption to each photo or video. Then hit Save.

Tag to Stream

Click 'Tag to Stream' at the bottom right of the page. In the pop-up that appears, use the search bar to find the product or stream you are looking for by name or product ID. Select the stream(s) and then click the 'Tag Stream(s)' button. You can also see the stock status and view the product URL by clicking 'View' below the photo icon.

Add Keywords

Click ''Add Keywords'' at the bottom right of the page. In the pop-up that appears, you can edit the username and add any desired keywords.

πŸ“£ IMPORTANT NOTE

Before you upload any content, make sure to review and edit the caption and username. Once the content is uploaded, you won't have the option to make any further changes. If your uploaded content is featured in a Shoppable Gallery, please note that the username and caption will appear exactly as you entered them during the upload.

3. Finish Upload

Once you've completed these steps and reviewed all the uploaded content, hit 'Upload' and you're good to go!

  • Uploaded photos and videos will be labeled with 'Hard Drive' as their media source and will be marked as rights approved.

  • Your uploaded content will either go directly to the 'New Content' section or to Pre-moderation for our Moderation team to review, depending on whether you have Moderation Services or not.

Please be patient, as it might take a few minutes to appear; avoid attempting to upload the content again to prevent duplication. Keep in mind that content may not appear if it has already been uploaded or collected previously.
