After content is collected, it flows into the Content Section for curation. If you have Moderation Services, content will arrive tagged with products/streams and matching your brand guidelines ready for you to approve by asking for rights. For those curating their own content, all photos arrive in the New Content section.

Access the New Content section by heading to Review Content under User-Generated from the Home page or navigating the left side Menu to Source > UGC > Curate > Content. New content awaits your decision – keep or discard, tag products/streams, and approve by asking for rights.

To find out more details about a photo hover over it and click ‘View’. You will see the username (which allows you to click through to the original photo), caption, rights status, content ID, where it was collected from, when it was collected and the image resolution.

To approve a photo, hover over it and click ‘Approve’. You can also select multiple photos and click 'Approve' in the bottom right to approve multiple photos at once.

If the photo has been collected from Twitter or an @mention on Instagram, you can ask for rights programmatically from within the platform. Once you have sent a rights message request, the photo will move to the Rights Pending section. When the user gives their consent for you to use the image, the photo will move automatically from Rights Pending to Approved Content and be live within your widgets.

After sending a rights message request, the photo will move to the Rights Pending section, which you can find under 'Other'. Photos will stay there until they receive consent to be used.

Once consent is received, the content shifts to Approved Content, ready for display. Some photos will arrive to the New Content section automatically marked as 'Rights Approved', for example if the user is on your Automatic Rights List or if the content was uploaded with the Content Uploader. Nonetheless, you will still need to approve these photos.

To discard a photo you don’t want to keep, hover over it and click 'Discard,' or select multiple photos and click 'Discard' in the bottom right. Discarded photos move to the Deleted section under 'Other' where they will be permanently removed after 14 days.

To tag a product/stream to a photo click ‘View’ on the photo and click ‘Add stream’. Use the search bar to find the Stream you are looking for by name or product ID, select the stream(s) and hit the ‘Tag Stream(s)’ button. Learn more about tagging content to Streams in this article.
